CRAIGSLIST SCAM – Employment (Job) Scam

Email Address: kelmo009@yahoo.com also known as, pretending to be Info@Craigslist.com and other fake corps. Kelmo is also BernardOBI@lawyer.com and analonzo090@yahoo.com

This scammer is also under a couple more names which include – “James” ( James Larry ) using the email Jlarry106@yahoo.com and Richard under  richwell120@yahoo.com as well as krishumphries12@yahoo.com – His name is probably Kris (for short?) Humphries because we all know these people love using their fake identities in their email-addresses.

and..

“Donella” ( Donella Pomponi ) using the email address dompom090@yahoo.com which looks like zeros but I think this scammer is trying to be slick and it’s really dompomO9O@yahoo.com (using ‘O’ instead of numbers.) This scam is an employment scam and she pulls your emails off of Craigslist.

IP: (below) Not all of the IP’s from all the emails are listed below. I’m in the process of cleaning out my email so I’ll post any other IP’s and post them here.

Thank you Ron, this scammer is everywhere, there are more views on this post then any other post which leads me to think that this person(s) is working in groups. Is the last name Richwell, or is that a combination of the scammers first and last name? (Richard/Well)
I’ll post it above so it pops up in search engines.

He is still doing this he contacted me is about to send me a check, He is using the James Larry name. Obviously whoever this is has knowledge of people that work for these companies, Can you tell me if they have sent you a package ? I need the locations and names of businesses they have sent these packages from., They just tried scamming the wrong person who knows a lot of people, Thanks,

Hello Bewareplayeribiteback, it is very difficult for authorities to trace these little rats because everything about them is phony. The names they use to scam are made up, the checks they send are fake, created on a PC or printer, or possibly even stolen/forged and they have their victims send money to them threw Western Union or Money Gram because there is no protection and anybody with the MTCN# or ”secret answer” can walk in and get the cash, walk out and disappear.

They also hide behind fake IP’s to try an confuse the (potential) victim of thinking they’re in the same Country. However, it is possible to find the real IP address of the scammer and most of the time it’s originating from Lagos, Benin, etc.. BUT, these people are also very uneducated, usually in their twenties and many go to Internet cafes and work in 6-8 shifts. (no joke, it’s a legit ‘job’, well at-least in their uneducated, sneaky minds.)

Now here is the tough part…

419 Scams a.k.a ‘Advance Fee Fraud’ is the 3rd fastest growing money-maker in that country and it is highly believed that Government officials, police officers, etc aid these crooks because they not only get a percentage of ”hush money” to pocket but also because they realize that the profits made each year from scams, continues to help build Africa/Nigeria’s broken-down economy. That country is very corrupt, most live like animals and don’t understand what honesty is because they have zero morals.

But it is possible for authorities to arrest these people so please don’t be persuaded, definitely hand in any fake checks so they can have it in their files. And spread the word, the more people who are educated on 419 scams, the less profit for the scammer.

What sucks is this… after you deposit the checks unknowingly into your account because a bank swears up and down they are legit enough for them to accept to put into your account, as in my case, They bounce and the bank does not have to give you the ” original check” ( so much for fingerprints, protecting their own maybe???) that bank who deposited your check issues whats known as a ” substitute check” and get this WOW even more alarming to the victims treat us as criminals, investigate us, I have read people have had bank accounts closed, are being forced to pay back these banks and if they can’t more criminal charges are brought against them. Now these are not just ” Low income people or unemployed being targeted”

( FYI) even lawyers/ law firms are sueing banks for losses they sustained because they fell for a scam themselves.

I am brutally upfront, I say what’s on my mind to the fullest. I think banks should be held liable, While one lawyer tried telling me ” Banks are a middle man” They have to accept every check! No, actually they do not accept every check,

Cashiers checks as one lawyer put it so nicely for me ( which I give him thanks because he proved my point, even though he did not want to, it kinda came out, he loves to argue his points and I love to argue mine) He stated ” Banks create an ” ILLUSION” that the money is guaranteed to the payee of the cashier’s check” I shot back ” creating an illusion about something that is not 100% or not true is DISHONEST for banks to do” therefore they should be held accountable and liable.
read my FYI above law firms are sueing the banks because they fell for a scam.

So this lawyer tells me ” No legit business posts a job ad on craigs list if they do its for fraudulent use” I said with all due respect sir, in case you have not noticed a lot of companies are cutting costs due to the economy or haven’t you noticed that even brand named companies are downsizing? and advertizing costs nowadays are outrageous …

He makes another statement I disagreed with, He stated ” western union is only used for fraud purposes” I said again sir with all due respect. If that is the case and more then one person believes that then you why are you not shutting it down? why are there more check cashing places and a new western union system in place? Western unions are like banks on almost every frigin corner nowadays..

I said to him and one more thing – if a celeb died/ media would be all over it for weeks/ months trying to hold someone liable including a middle man such as a doctor prescribing meds, why can’t the banks be liable

      Bewareplayeribiteback,

I agree, it’s 2013, you would think banks would have the technology to scam a check right away and see if it’s legit, instead of waiting and finding out a week or so later.

Do you still have the email header of the scammer? Is it identical to the one above? If it’s different can you post it? I’m going to dig a little and see what other email addresses and names this person is scamming under. I wont be able to find every single email address but I’ll be able to find the ones he has used under the information above.

Also, that lawyer sounds like a jerk and he is no help whatsoever. He actually sounds somewhat condescending and although scammers ALWAYS use Western Union or Money Gram, those services are not only used for fraud. They use it because there is no protection or security and just about anyone with a MTCN# and secret answer can pick up the cash.

I responded to an add on Craigslist, pretty much assuming it was a scam because the email address if you can believe it was kris humphries. It was for an Administrative Assistant, and the ad shows up every day. The email address is krishumphries12@yahoo.com, and the response email was identical to the one above
